Then book your wedding at Knockerdown! An incredible venue that not only looks stunning, but allows for most of your guests to stay on site also. By having the venue for the full weekend, and also because of the DIY aspect that allowed us complete control over what we had - we were able to really make the wedding our own - and as a result, we had so many guests saying it was the best wedding they’ve been to. What is also great about Knockerdown, is that although it is DIY, they still manage to keep the personal element through the amazing support and work from Fiona and the events team. Fiona was there all day for the wedding and was always on hand to ensure the day ran smoothly. Thank you so much.

Knockerdown is a fantastic wedding venue. It was brilliant to have the whole weekend with our guests, rather than one rushed day. The staff were so helpful throughout the process. They were always easy to get in touch with if we had any questions in the lead up and over the weekend they did their jobs smoothly and efficiently. They even sorted all the men's button holes for them! Our guests enjoyed being on site. The kids playground was an added bonus. The cottages were well equipped. We cannot recommend Knockerdown highly enough.

where do we begin? We visited the venue and fell in love straight away, the opportunity to have all our friends and family stay on site in beautiful self catering accommodation was one we could not miss. The cottages are so nice, homely & have all that you need. The Brackendale room where you can be married and/or have your wedding breakfast and evening reception is stunning. There’s so many facilities on site to use, including a games room and swimming pool. The views are stunning and there’s the opportunity to get married outside. I got ready in the Bonsall cottage and if you don’t have a large bridal party, this is an excellent space to get ready and then turns into the most beautiful honeymoon suite. The venue is a 10 out of 10, not one fault. In terms of Fiona and the team, they are outstanding. Everyone we came into contact with made us feel so important and relaxed, so friendly and professional. Fiona was amazing, from the moment we booked she has supported us with every choice, we put our complete trust in her as she’s so good at what she does. At no point did I ever feel stressed as I know she had it all in hand. We made full use of the venue for the whole weekend and had soooo many suppliers, so we made Fiona work- and it was seamless. We had a pie van and band on the Friday. Saturday was our wedding day and we had fish and chips, ice cream, pizza, DJ, Photo Booth, audio guestbook, live singer. Sunday we had a Greek van and a magician. So as you can see, we took full advantage of using this beautiful venue. We are so grateful for everything that Fiona did for us in ensuring all the suppliers ran smoothly. We couldn’t get married outside, which is what I desperately wanted but the way Fiona was so chilled and so reassuring just made me so at ease and just go with the flow, and now I’m so glad I got married in the Brackendale room as it’s stunning! Many of our guests have said that it’s the best wedding that they have been to and because it’s a DIY venue, they said it was so unique and different to any other wedding they’ve experienced. Having a wedding weekend instead of a wedding day is the way forward, we enjoyed every single minute. Book it - you will not regret!
