The Barn at Alswick

We got married at The Barn at Alswick one month ago, and it was the first venue we viewed — we knew straight away it was the one! The space is stunning, from the beautiful beams and versatile layout to the gorgeous grounds that transformed so quickly into the most magical setting for our day. The outside area for reception drinks was ideal, and having relaxed, comfortable spaces for both of us to get ready made the morning so much easier. Our guests loved the option to stay overnight in the tents, and the breakfast the next morning went down an absolute treat. The package offered by the barn was wonderfully simple, and the partners they work with made planning our wedding in just nine months feel effortless. A huge thank you to everyone at the barn who made the day run so smoothly. Claire did an amazing job helping us throughout the planning, and both Claire and Ellie were brilliant helping us work things around on the day. So many people have told us how special the barn felt, and we couldn’t agree more. The Barn at Alswick gave us the most incredible backdrop to our wedding, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a venue that truly has it all.

We are so grateful to the team at The Barn at Alswick. We were planning for a super long time and they have been on it ever since our first visit. Everyone has been so accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly during the entire process. The whole team are such experts at managing a wedding day. Everything was done so efficiently and TOTALLY seamlessly. Nothing ever felt like too much of an ask and every single one of our guests were so impressed. Obviously the barn itself is just the best, it’s a fantastic blank canvas for whatever you can imagine! The grounds are amazing, everything is perfectly clean - it truly sets the bar so high. The snug is a great addition for people that don’t like to party hard, the dressing room is huge, well lit with lots of plugs, the stable is ideal for having the groomsmen on site and the glamping is the perfect quirk to top everything off. A wonderful venue that will forever be so special to us. You WILL be seeing us at your future events and I have already told Tom I want a 10 year anniversary party sooo… THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🤍✨🤍✨🤍✨

We had a fantastic wedding day at The Barn at Alswick and everything ran perfectly from start to finish. Ellie and the whole team were amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. Communication throughout the entire planning process was excellent, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Barn at Alswick to any couple.

The girls here are phenomenal, the venue is stunning, and the support, advice, & guidance you receive from everyone in the team is truly unmatched. As soon as we viewed this amazing venue we fell in love and instantly knew this was the venue for us. The grounds are truly breathtaking, the barn has a perfect combination of a modern and rustic vibe. It truly is a beautiful canvas for planning your dream day. Not to mention celebrating your wedding night in true fashion with their picturesque glamping tents & village. Planning a wedding is tough, but it is vital that you receive the care and attention to detail from your venue and venders to ensure you have the day of your dreams. We can both safely say that The Barn at Alswick can meet every need and wish of your desires. We want to give a special thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator Ellie, she listened to us, she guided us, she ensured that both the lead up & the big day ran smoothly for us. Our guests were also extremely complimentary, we had so many people express to us just how amazing our day and venue was. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful venue! Coordinater was incredible, so flexible & accommodating… we had a vendor heavy, jam packed wedding day (we had a church wedding but the reception here…. ) & they were amazing! From the get do Claire and the team went above and beyond to make our big day exactly as we pictured from 100 strong biker escort to the venue, to a tattoo van, horsebox coffee shop in the car park for the bikers… coordinated with all our other vendors (we had A lot) made room for what was needed, helped set the tables the day before…. The venue had great bones which gives you the flexibility to make it exactly what you envision…. Truely a diamond in our wedding day. Can’t recommend enough.
